Dennis Kahindi, CEO

Dennis Kahindi, CEO

Dennis Keko Kahindi is CEO of Liquid Telecom Uganda, joining us in March 2019. He is responsible for accelerating Liquid Telecom’s growth and market penetration in Uganda.

Dennis possesses proven senior management and operational leadership skills from over 15 years of experience in the Telecommunications and ICT industry.

Prior to joining Liquid Telecom Uganda, he was the Business Lead for Oracle in Rwanda, based out of Kenya. He was also previously the Country Manager for Microsoft in Uganda and Rwanda. Dennis’ areas of expertise include strategy development, sales and marketing leadership, profitability and cost analysis, contract negotiations and strategic alliances.

His qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the Makerere University, an MBA from the United States International University in Nairobi and a qualification in Business Strategy and Financial Acumen from the INSEAD Business School.

Duncan Namuhani, Network Design Manager

Duncan Namuhani, CTO

Duncan joined Infocom now Liquid Telecom Uganda in 2004 as a Systems Engineer. Previously he was the IT Manager at the International Medical Group, the largest private health provider in Uganda. He has a wealth of experience having worked in roles that have covered Networks design and operations (covering IP, Optics, Satelite and wireless) Management, and Customer services for over 10 years.

Duncan is married with 4 lovely children.

Barbara Nannono, Sales and Marketing Manager

Barbara has been with Infocom for the last 13 Years. Having graduated with a BA in Sociology and Social Administration.

She joined Infocom starting with a role as Sales Administration Executive and attained a managerial position from the progressive achievements approved by the board. She is currently the Sales and Marketing Manager responsible for business development, growth and retention of the clientele base in the company.

She has been instrumental in execution of major ‘Firsts’ in Uganda’s Internet Service Provision sector including, The First Uganda Hot Spot implementation and the First Fiber Connectivity solutions.

She is interested in networking and activities entailing bringing communities together.

Helen Kampa, Customer Care Manager

Helen Kampa, Customer Care Manager

Hellen joined Infocom in August 2005. She holds a business degree and a diploma in Management Information Systems.

As Customer Service Manager, she acts as a liaison between customers and Infocom making sure that the lines of communication remain open while building trust and strong long term relationships.

Customer service is an integral part of Infocom’s value proposition. Implemented feedback loops allow us to capture feedback to improve customer service and ensure that quality and service exceed customer expectations.  

Salama Semwanga, Human Resource Officer

Salama Semwanga, Human Resource Officer

Salama Semwanga, a Human Resource Management Professional of the Association of Business Managers and Administrators (ABAM) based in UK, has worked with Infocom since inception and excelled through ranks to the position of Human Resource Officer. With an extensive and proven track record of working closely with business leaders at all levels she has managed to come up with the HR systems and practices that drive performance and business results.

Salama is highly proficient in developing and implementing employee policies and procedures, managing employee relations and performance management and measurement systems  

Akram Sekanjako, Finance Manager

Akram Sekanjako, Finance Manager

Akram Sekanjako joined Infocom in February 2010 as a senior accountant and excelled through the ranks to the position of Finance Manager. He is responsible for the company’s finances. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business administration. He’s currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in accounting and finance at Makerere University.

Prior to joining Infocom Ltd, he was in charge of finances at Scania Motors (U) Ltd and also worked with one of the leading audit firms in East Africa, PKF international for over 5 years.

Akram is a married Man, a Ugandan and lives in Uganda
